VinFast Auto Ltd. has reported preliminary domestic electric vehicle (EV) deliveries of 9,588 units in April 2025, marking another month of strong growth in Vietnam’s rapidly evolving EV landscape. With this, year-to-date (YTD) deliveries have reached 44,691 units, reinforcing VinFast’s leading position in the domestic electric mobility market.
The VF 3 and VF 5 models continued to dominate the sales charts in April, recording 2,378 and 3,731 deliveries respectively. The VF 6 followed closely with 1,763 units delivered. Cumulatively in 2025, the VF 3 has emerged as VinFast’s best-selling model with 15,466 units delivered, followed by 14,520 VF 5s and 5,914 VF 6s.
New Green Models Hit the Road
April also marked the start of deliveries for the Herio Green and Nerio Green, two new EV models tailored specifically for transportation services. The Herio Green is based on the popular VF 5 platform, while the Nerio Green builds upon the VF e34, both designed with enhanced efficiency and durability for commercial applications.
VinFast confirmed that two more models from its specialized Green lineup — the Minio and Limo Green — are set to begin deliveries in August 2025, expanding its footprint in the shared mobility and ride-hailing segments.
Focus on Sustainable Public Transport
In a strategic push towards greener public transportation, VinFast also unveiled the EB 6, a compact electric bus developed for student transport. This initiative underlines VinFast’s commitment to sustainability and its focus on transforming key sectors such as education and public mobility.
VinFast’s April performance signals not just growing domestic demand for electric mobility, but also the company’s aggressive product rollout and innovation strategy. The surge in VF 3 sales — now firmly established as Vietnam’s top-selling EV model — exemplifies strong market reception, especially in the affordable, urban EV category.
Note: The reported delivery numbers are preliminary and may be revised following year-end audits. Industry data references are based on the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers’ Association and internal company data.
VinFast continues to chart an ambitious course as Vietnam’s homegrown EV powerhouse, with its expanding lineup poised to cater to both individual consumers and commercial fleets in the months ahead.
