In a major move to boost the adoption of electric commercial vehicles (ECVs) in India, Tata Motors, the country’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vertelo, a leading provider of bespoke electric mobility solutions. The strategic partnership aims to make electric mobility more accessible to commercial fleet operators through customised leasing solutions across Tata Motors’ entire electric commercial vehicle portfolio.
The collaboration is set to offer scalable and sustainable leasing options to encourage businesses to shift towards greener alternatives in transportation, addressing cost-related barriers and simplifying the transition to electric fleets.
