Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer VinFast continues to accelerate its global expansion, announcing new dealership agreements with ASTRADA SIMVA in France and Schachtschneider Automobile GmbH & Co KG in Germany. This marks a pivotal moment in the company’s strategic shift toward a full-scale dealership model across Europe, reinforcing its commitment to the continent’s green transition.
ASTRADA SIMVA becomes VinFast’s first official dealership partner in France, with a showroom slated to open in Aix-en-Provence in June 2025. In parallel, Schachtschneider Automobile, VinFast’s second partner in Germany, will operate three new showrooms, strengthening the company’s presence in a key EV market. These locations join two existing showrooms operated in partnership with Autohaus Hübsch.
All authorized dealerships will offer customers the opportunity to explore, test drive, and purchase VinFast’s flagship electric models—the compact VF 6 and mid-size VF 8—alongside access to certified after-sales service, warranty, and parts support.
“This partnership further demonstrates our commitment to Europe’s EV future,” said Ms. Thuy Le, Chairwoman of VinFast. “We’re embracing a franchise model built on local expertise and long-term sustainability, allowing us to scale operations rapidly and efficiently.”
VinFast plans to provide comprehensive personnel training, ensuring dealership staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills required to deliver a premium customer experience. This includes product familiarity, technical procedures, and service excellence.
A Strong Vote of Confidence from European Dealers
Mr. Renzo Schachtschneider, General Manager of Schachtschneider Automobile, stated: “We are proud to stand alongside VinFast in advancing the green revolution in mobility. This collaboration allows us to provide high-quality EV options that align with the expectations of German consumers.”
Mr. Chris Durand, CEO of ASTRADA SIMVA, echoed similar sentiments: “VinFast’s innovation and product quality are impressive. Introducing the VF 6 and VF 8 to Aix-en-Provence presents an exciting opportunity for our customers to experience cutting-edge, emission-free mobility.”
Strengthening European Infrastructure
To ensure a seamless ownership journey, VinFast has partnered with regional after-sales service providers, operating 22 dedicated technical centers across Europe—including 8 in Germany, 12 in France, and 2 in the Netherlands. Additional support is offered through authorized service networks like ATU (Germany), Norauto (France), and LKQ (Netherlands), as well as Fixico for body and paint solutions.
VinFast’s global ambitions extend beyond Europe, with dealership operations already underway in Indonesia, the Philippines, India, and the Middle East. With a product lineup ranging from the compact VF 3 to the full-size VF 9, the company has exceeded 2024 global sales targets and established itself as Vietnam’s top-selling car brand.
As VinFast continues building a robust and reliable dealership network, its push into Europe signals not just market expansion but a strategic commitment to a cleaner, smarter, and more sustainable future in mobility.
