In its largest shipment to date, VinFast has exported nearly 2,500 electric vehicles (EVs) to Indonesia, reinforcing its growing footprint in Southeast Asia. The dedicated transport vessel, Silver Queen, departed from MPC Port, Hai Phong, carrying four models—VF 3, VF 5, VF e34, and Nerio Green—designed specifically for the Indonesian market with right-hand drive configurations.
This marks VinFast’s fourth shipment to Indonesia, arriving just in time for the Muslim Lebaran (Eid al-Fitr) holiday, making the EVs a special New Year gift for Indonesian customers.
Strong Growth in Indonesia’s EV Market
Within just a year of entering Indonesia, VinFast has successfully launched three models and gained strong consumer traction. The VF 3, introduced at IIMS 2025, became the most test-driven vehicle at the event, highlighting the brand’s rising popularity in the country.

VinFast is rapidly building a comprehensive EV ecosystem in Indonesia, supported by strategic partners GSM and V-GREEN. The Xanh SM electric taxi service, launched in December 2024, is already expanding across the country, while V-GREEN is fast-tracking the rollout of charging stations to meet rising demand.
Commitment to Local Production
Looking ahead, VinFast is accelerating the completion of its Indonesian assembly facility, which will enhance local production capacity and reduce costs for consumers.
