Hala Mobility, a full-stack EV-as-a-service platform focused on sustainable last-mile delivery, has partnered with iGowise Mobility, a mobility tech startup specializing in high-speed light electric vehicles (LEVs). As part of this collaboration, iGowise will provide 2,000 high-speed, anti-topple electric trikes to cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore. These vehicles aim to solve inefficiencies in last-mile delivery by offering businesses lower operational costs, greater reliability, and compliance with sustainability mandates while ensuring faster deliveries for consumers.
Hala Mobility recently raised ₹51 crore and has set a goal of deploying 10,000 electric vehicles by December 2025 to support India’s transition to electric mobility. As part of this initiative, the company evaluated multiple cargo LEVs and selected iGowise’s BeiGo electric pickup trike to tackle last-mile logistics challenges. These vehicles are expected to transform delivery operations for industries such as e-commerce, perishables delivery, and quick commerce by providing higher cargo capacity and stability compared to traditional two-wheelers and auto-rickshaws.
Srikanth Reddy, CEO of Hala Mobility, emphasized the importance of speed, cost-efficiency, and rider comfort in last-mile logistics. He highlighted that the BeiGo electric trike’s innovative design makes electric mobility not only sustainable but also operationally superior. Riders appreciate the ease of handling payloads without straining their backs and knees, thanks to the vehicle’s anti-topple swiveling feature. This unique stability function allows riders to navigate corners confidently even on narrow roads, improving safety and efficiency.
iGowise Mobility shares a similar vision of advancing electrification in India through high-performance, safe, and reliable EV solutions. Its BeiGo electric trike is designed to enable higher earnings for riders by allowing more shipments per trip. Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO and co-founder of iGowise Mobility expressed excitement about showcasing the benefits of their innovative technology. He pointed out that the partnership with Hala Mobility would not only help reduce emissions and urban pollution but also enhance rider livelihood, safety, and comfort while delivering cost savings for logistics partners. He noted that Hala’s focus on operational efficiency through technology-driven solutions made them an ideal partner for iGowise.
Hala Mobility provides electric vehicles on rent, lease, or subscription, offering cost-effective and scalable solutions for delivery companies. The company integrates vehicle ownership, battery swapping, fleet analytics, and financing to create a seamless EV ecosystem. Meanwhile, iGowise Mobility focuses on research and development to enhance safety and efficiency through advanced mobility technology. The BeiGo electric pickup trike is a modular, industry-first solution that makes this partnership especially promising.
With India targeting 80 million EVs by 2030, collaborations like this are crucial in accelerating adoption. By offering low upfront costs and improved operational efficiency, this initiative will particularly benefit middle-class consumers and businesses looking for cost-effective last-mile delivery solutions. The partnership between Hala Mobility and iGowise Mobility is a step toward sustainable urban mobility, making electric vehicles more accessible and practical for commercial use.
