Volvo Cars reported global sales of 50,662 vehicles in February 2025, marking a modest 1% increase compared to the same month last year. However, sales of electrified models, including fully electric and plug-in hybrid variants, saw a 3% decline, accounting for 43% of total sales.
Fully electric vehicles constituted 18% of sales in February, while plug-in hybrid models represented 24%. The best-selling model for the month was the Volvo XC60, with 17,658 units sold, reflecting a year-on-year increase from 16,026. The XC40/EX40 followed with 11,763 units, while the XC90 recorded 7,607 sales.
