PURE EV, one of India’s fastest-growing electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with JioThings Smart Mobility, a division of Reliance Jio, to integrate advanced Internet of Things (IoT) technology into electric two-wheelers. The collaboration aims to enhance connectivity, safety, and operational efficiency in the country’s growing EV sector.

The partnership will enable PURE EV to incorporate JioThings’ IoT-based solutions into its electric scooters, offering real-time monitoring, predictive analytics, and cloud-enabled diagnostics. These features are expected to improve vehicle longevity, security, and overall user experience.
The IoT integration will provide key functionalities such as:
Real-time Battery Diagnostics – Users can track battery health and charge levels via a connected application.
IoT-Based Vehicle Tracking & Anti-Theft Features – GPS-enabled tracking enhances security and theft prevention.
Predictive Maintenance Alerts – AI-driven diagnostics will notify users of potential faults before they occur.
Over-the-Air (OTA) Updates – Remote software updates will improve performance and introduce new features.
Remote Vehicle Lock & Unlock – Users will be able to control essential scooter functions through a mobile app.
