Kia Corporation’s 2025 Kia EV Day will take place later this month at the Tarraco Arena in Tarragona, Spain, following the success of the first Kia EV Day in Korea in 2023. The event will showcase the brand’s latest electric models, concepts, and technologies as part of Kia’s push to strengthen its global leadership in sustainable mobility.
The second Kia EV Day will also highlight the company’s role as a leader in Platform Beyond Vehicle (PBV) innovation, unveiling a new vision for EV usability with vehicles offering exceptional flexibility through radical modularity.
The event will feature the global debut of the Kia EV4, first introduced as a concept at Kia’s inaugural EV Day, alongside the Kia PV5, Kia’s first dedicated PBV model, which was previewed as a concept at the 2024 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Additionally, Kia will present the Concept EV2, a compact electric vehicle and the latest addition to its dedicated EV lineup.
Teaser images and videos providing a sneak peek of the concept’s design and close-ups of the new models will offer a preview of Kia’s innovative design philosophy. Each vehicle embraces Kia’s Opposites United design approach, showcasing the unique characteristics of the Kia EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2.
These three models represent Kia’s bold strategy for the future of electric vehicles. The EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2 all feature the brand’s cutting-edge electric platform technology, demonstrating Kia’s commitment to leading sustainable mobility across passenger and business sectors, meeting diverse customer needs globally.
Kia will also reveal its PBV strategy, offering full details on the business, vision, product lineup, and the launch of the PV5. The company will showcase its groundbreaking PBV platform, a dedicated battery electric skateboard architecture designed to enable the flexible integration of various vehicle body types.
Key members of Kia’s senior leadership team will take the stage during the event, presenting the EV4, PV5, and Concept EV2, while unveiling Kia’s expanded electrification strategy aimed at transforming the global EV market. The event video will be released on Kia’s Worldwide YouTube channel in March.
