Christine Wolburg will assume the newly created role of Chief Brand Officer (CBO) of the Volkswagen brand, effective April 1, 2025. With extensive experience in the automotive industry and expertise in creating and executing innovative brand experiences, Wolburg will oversee the global brand experience strategy, elevating the holistic experience of the Volkswagen brand. Reporting directly to CEO Thomas Schäfer, Wolburg will also take over the marketing management of the Volkswagen brand from Susanne Franz, who will transition to a new role within the company.
