TVS Motor Launches King EV Max Electric Auto in India

TVS Motor Company has unveiled the King EV Max, an electric three-wheeler, in the Indian market. Priced at ₹2.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the electric auto is available at select dealerships in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir, Delhi, and West Bengal.

As part of its launch package, TVS is offering a 6-year/150,000 km warranty (whichever comes first) and complimentary 24/7 roadside assistance for the first three years.

Powertrain and Performance

The TVS King EV Max is powered by a 9.2 kWh Lithium-ion LFP battery pack paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. The motor delivers a peak power of 11 kW and a torque output of 40 Nm. The e-auto features three driving modes: Eco, City, and Power, catering to different performance needs.

Key performance highlights:

  • Range: Up to 179 km on a full charge.
  • Charging: 80% charge in 2 hours and 15 minutes; full charge in 3.5 hours.
  • Top Speed: 60 kmph in Power mode, 50 kmph in City mode, and 40 kmph in Eco mode.

The King EV Max is equipped with TVS SmartXonnect technology, offering users real-time navigation, vehicle diagnostics, and important alerts via smartphone connectivity. Additional features include a negative LCD instrument panel for displaying essential information.
