Kia India Opens Bookings for Syros SUV, a Game-Changer for Urban Drivers

Kia India has officially launched the booking process for its much-anticipated SUV, the Syros, starting January 3rd. Customers can secure their bookings online at 12 AM or visit their nearest dealer starting tomorrow, with a booking amount set at Rs 25,000. The company has confirmed that prices for the Syros will be announced on February 1st, with deliveries slated to begin by mid-February.

The Syros is built on the reinforced K1 platform and is designed to cater to the demands of modern, tech-savvy urban drivers while offering versatility and cutting-edge features. With a bold exterior and a premium, lounge-like interior, the SUV aims to set new industry benchmarks.

Mr. Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, shared, “With the Syros, we are proud to introduce a game-changing SUV that embodies the perfect blend of innovation, style, and comfort, designed to exceed the expectations of the young, aspirational India. As we open pre-bookings, we invite customers to be among the first to experience the future of motoring.”

The Syros features an impressive 20 Robust Hi-Standard safety package and 16 autonomous features, including Level-2 ADAS. Kia’s latest offering also integrates Kia Connect 2.0, which provides first-in-segment Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates, keeping the vehicle’s 22 controllers updated with the latest features and software. Additional features include a 76.2 cm (30”) Trinity Panoramic Display panel, dual-pane panoramic sunroof, 64-color ambient lighting, and the first-in-segment rear seat recline, slide, and ventilation system. The flexible adjustable boot space offers further convenience.

The Syros will be available in four standard trims: HTK, HTK+, HTX, and HTX+, along with two optional trims: HTK(O) and HTX+(O). Engine options will include the Smartstream 1.0-liter turbo petrol engine producing 120PS and 172Nm of torque, and a 1.5-liter CRDi diesel engine generating 116PS and 250Nm of torque. Both engines come with automatic and manual transmission options.
