Cadillac is set to make waves in the electric vehicle market with the introduction of the 2026 VISTIQ, the brand’s first all-electric three-row SUV. Slated for an early 2025 launch, the VISTIQ joins Cadillac’s growing EV lineup alongside the LYRIQ, OPTIQ, ESCALADE IQ, and CELESTIQ, blending advanced technology with timeless American luxury.
The VISTIQ’s commanding exterior design takes center stage, featuring the largest iteration of Cadillac’s signature Black Crystal Shield grille, available in two distinct styles. “We have the art-deco inspired pinstripe for a tailored, sophisticated look in the Luxury trim, and a mesh grille with diamond-shaped backlighting for the Sport trim, which conveys a sense of performance,” said Zhou Fang, Cadillac’s lead creative designer.
A subtle homage to Cadillac’s storied past can be found in the VISTIQ’s tornado-shaped D-pillar sail panel, a design element inspired by classic Cadillacs from the 1960s and models like the CTS-V Sport Wagon. Additionally, the quarter-panel glass features a unique Mondrian pattern, echoing Cadillac’s motorsport heritage and creating dramatic interior lighting effects for third-row passengers.
“It’s confident, luxurious, elegant, all combined,” Fang said. “The VISTIQ isn’t trying to mimic European or Japanese luxury. It’s shouting American luxury.”
With its bold aesthetics, advanced electric powertrain, and tech-laden interior, the Cadillac VISTIQ aims to set a new benchmark for premium electric SUVs, solidifying Cadillac’s position as a leader in the American EV market.
