VinFast Auto has officially commenced delivery of its VF 5 electric SUV during the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week 2024. This marks VinFast’s second electric vehicle launch in Indonesia, following the successful introduction of the VF e34 earlier this year.
In just nine months since entering the Indonesian market, VinFast has delivered two EV models, solidifying its commitment to advancing green transportation in Indonesia and the broader Southeast Asian region.
Compact and Eco-Friendly Urban Driving
The VF 5, an A-segment electric vehicle, boasts a compact yet robust design tailored for urban environments. Equipped with advanced safety features, it offers an eco-friendly alternative to gasoline-powered cars, appealing to Jakarta’s metropolitan consumers who are increasingly embracing sustainable mobility solutions.
Flexible Pricing and Ownership Options
VinFast offers the VF 5 in Indonesia at an on-the-road price of 286,450,000 IDR (with battery purchase) or 218,250,000 IDR (with battery subscription). For greater flexibility, customers can opt for a battery subscription plan starting at just 990,000 IDR per month.
The company further supports buyers with interest-free installment plans, no administrative fees, and waived service charges for the first year. To ease the transition to EVs, VinFast guarantees strong resale values, retaining up to 90% of the original value after six months of use and 70% after three years.
Market-Leading Warranty and After-Sales Support
The VF 5 comes with a seven-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty for the vehicle and an eight-year unlimited mileage warranty for the battery, setting a benchmark in after-sales service.
