Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) reported a total sales volume of 10,080 units for October 2024, bolstered by strong festive season demand. The company’s domestic sales accounted for 5,546 units, while exports contributed an additional 4,534 units.
Mr. Kunal Behl, Vice President of Marketing & Sales at HCIL, credited the festive season, which included Navratri, Durga Puja, Dussehra, Dhanteras, and Diwali, for the surge in sales. “The festive sales momentum in October contributed strongly to customer deliveries at dealerships. It revitalized demand following a period of muted industry activity,” he said. He emphasized HCIL’s proactive approach to synchronizing production and inventory with market demand, which he believes will help sustain the momentum in the coming months.
The company’s strategic alignment of production with the festive surge has enabled a promising close to October, indicating potential continuity in growth as the year progresses.
