Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has unveiled its latest brand campaign, “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.,” showcasing the innovative Dual Cylinder CNG technology in its newly launched EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS Hy-CNG Duo models. The campaign emphasizes the benefits of the Hy-CNG Duo technology, offering customers a blend of spacious interiors, fuel efficiency, and eco-friendly performance.
The brand-new campaign, which features a dynamic TVC set against the backdrop of a lively Indian wedding, highlights the convenience of the Dual Cylinder CNG setup. It portrays how the EXTER Hy-CNG Duo’s expansive boot space makes transporting luggage effortless while delivering impressive fuel efficiency. The campaign aims to break common misconceptions associated with CNG vehicles, showcasing the practicality of the Hy-CNG Duo technology in a relatable manner.
Speaking about the campaign, Mr. Tarun Garg, Whole Time Director & Chief Operating Officer, HMIL, said, “As a brand committed to delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions, we are thrilled to see the growing contribution of our CNG-powered vehicles, which accounted for 13% of our total sales in September 2024. The introduction of Hy-CNG dual-cylinder technology has received very positive customer feedback, with the CNG powertrain’s contribution in the EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS rising to 25% and 20% respectively. Our latest campaign for the Hy-CNG Duo technology in the EXTER and Grand i10 NIOS highlights the blend of convenience and fuel efficiency that our customers seek.”
The Hy-CNG Duo models, powered by a 1.2L Bi-Fuel (Petrol with CNG) engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission, deliver an impressive mileage of 27.1 km/kg in the EXTER and 26.9 km/kg in the Grand i10 NIOS (ARAI tested). The vehicles are designed to meet evolving customer needs, featuring a company-fitted CNG system that is strategically placed under the luggage board, optimizing boot space for practicality.
HMIL’s new campaign will reach audiences across digital and social media platforms including YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram, using programmatic advertising to target auto enthusiasts, family-oriented individuals, and travel-loving consumers. The multi-channel approach aims to boost website visits and video views, bringing the message of “Space Bhi. Mileage Bhi.” to a wide audience.
