Hyundai Motor has announced the upcoming launch of the INSTER Cross, a new variant of the all-new INSTER, designed for outdoor enthusiasts. This crossover offers the versatility of the base INSTER model, catering to customers seeking a vehicle for mini-adventures and outdoor activities. Positioned between A-segment and B-segment models, the INSTER Cross boasts a spacious interior and generous luggage capacity, providing enhanced maneuverability and practicality.
The INSTER Cross will feature unique outdoor-oriented design elements, including wide rectangular front and rear bumpers, embossed black claddings, and front and rear skid plates. Side rocker panels with 17-inch alloy wheels add extra protection for rough terrain. Roof racks come standard, with the option to add a roof basket for transporting gear for daily tasks, sports, or camping. The crossover will be available in an exclusive Amazonas Green Matte, alongside five other colors, some of which are offered with a two-tone black roof: Atlas White, Unbleached Ivory, Aero Silver Matte, Abyss Black Pearl, and Tomboy Khaki.
Equipped with Hyundai’s segment-leading ADAS package, the INSTER Cross includes features like Highway Driving Assist 1.5, Smart Cruise Control, and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5. Inside, all seats can fold flat, offering versatile seating arrangements, walk-through access in the front row, and 50/50 split second-row seats that slide and recline.
Production of the INSTER Cross is set to begin later this year at Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in Korea.
