Ford has unveiled the 2025 Mustang Mach-E, equipped with new features designed to meet customer demands, including a standard heat pump, enhanced BlueCruise 1.5 hands-free highway driving system, and a stylish Sport Appearance Package. The updated electric SUV, starting at a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $36,495, promises zero emissions and offers a refined driving experience.

Donna Dickson, Mustang Mach-E chief engineer, emphasized the brand’s customer-centric approach, stating, “We’re dedicated to giving them the best version of Mustang Mach-E possible, and that means giving them features they have been asking for, like the new heat pump and more interior space up front.” Ford has actively engaged with customers through forums and feedback to enhance the vehicle’s appeal.

BlueCruise 1.5: A New Era of Hands-Free Driving

The 2025 Mustang Mach-E debuts BlueCruise 1.5, an upgraded version of Ford’s hands-free highway driving system. This new iteration features Automatic Lane Change, allowing the vehicle to execute lane changes without driver input, ensuring smoother navigation in highway traffic. BlueCruise 1.5 can autonomously initiate lane changes when the vehicle ahead is slower than the set speed or if another vehicle is following closely. Testing indicates that the system automates up to 45% of driver-initiated lane changes during typical drives.

New customers can choose between a one-year plan or a one-time purchase option for BlueCruise, with a complimentary 90-day trial for those who prefer to explore the feature before committing.

Sporty Looks and Comfort Upgrades

For those seeking a sportier look, the Premium model now offers a Sport Appearance Package inspired by the Mustang Mach-E GT. It includes a redesigned front fascia and grille shield, painted red front Brembo®-branded brake calipers, and 19-inch Monochromatic High-Gloss Black-Painted wheels. Interior enhancements include red accent stitching, sport pedals, and standard ventilated front seats. A new column-mounted shifter replaces the previous dial shifter, providing more console space.

Enhanced Connectivity and Personalization

Ford also introduced the new Ford Connectivity Package, offering features like 5G Wi-Fi® Hotspot support for up to 10 devices, in-vehicle apps for entertainment, and advanced navigation tools. Customers have the option of a one-time purchase for the package or a one-year complimentary trial, followed by an annual subscription plan.
