Hyundai Motor Company has announced the upcoming launch of the INSTER Cross, a new variant of its all-electric INSTER model, designed for customers seeking a rugged, outdoor-inspired vehicle. This crossover will feature a distinctive design, including wide front and rear bumpers, skid plates, unique 17-inch alloy wheels, and embossed black claddings, emphasizing its adventurous character.
Positioned between A-segment and B-segment models, the INSTER Cross offers a spacious interior with versatile seating options, including 50/50 split second-row seats that can slide, recline, and fold flat, as well as walk-through access in the front row. The model’s standout feature is its ability to accompany users on urban drives and outdoor excursions, enhanced by roof racks and an optional roof basket for extra storage.
The INSTER Cross will be offered in an exclusive Amazonas Green Matte color, alongside five other options like Atlas White, Aero Silver Matte, and Tomboy Khaki, with the option for a two-tone black roof. Inside, customers will find a special grey cloth with lime-yellow accents on the seats and dashboard, adding a unique touch to the cabin.
Boasting a 360-kilometer all-electric range and rapid charging capabilities (10-80% in approximately 30 minutes), the INSTER Cross comes equipped with advanced safety features, including Highway Driving Assist 1.5 and Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist 1.5. Production of the INSTER Cross is set to begin later this year at Hyundai’s manufacturing plant in Korea.
