Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a key player in the Indian automotive sector, announced today that its total vehicle sales for September 2024 reached 87,839 units, including exports, marking a robust growth of 16% compared to the previous year.
In the Utility Vehicles segment, M&M’s domestic sales surged to 51,062 vehicles, reflecting an impressive growth of 24%. Overall, including exports, the company sold 52,590 utility vehicles. The domestic sales of Commercial Vehicles also showed positive momentum, with 23,706 units sold during the month.
Veejay Nakra, President of the Automotive Division at M&M Ltd., commented, “We sold 51,062 SUVs in September, which translates to a remarkable growth of 24%. Our total vehicle sales of 87,839 units show a commendable 16% increase. This month, we launched the all-new VEERO in the LCV <3.5 ton segment, based on India’s first multi-energy modular CV platform. With its best-in-class mileage, exceptional performance, industry-leading safety features, enhanced occupant protection, and a premium cabin experience, the VEERO is poised to disrupt the LCV market and has garnered a very positive response.”
As part of the festive offerings, Mahindra will open bookings for the highly anticipated Thar RoXX on October 3rd, aligning with the celebrations of Navratri.
