Hyundai Motor India Foundation (HMIF), the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), has officially announced the commencement of the 4th season of its flagship initiative, Art for Hope. This initiative, dedicated to supporting emerging and under-represented artists across India, invites applications from artists, including those with disabilities, until October 18, 2024. Artists can register at hyundaiartforhope.com.

Building on the success of its previous three seasons, Art for Hope continues its mission to uplift diverse art forms by providing financial support and nationwide exposure. This season, 50 individual artists and collectives will be awarded grants amounting to INR 60 lakhs, with a focus on fostering social dialogue through art on themes like climate change, human rights, and community resilience.

Mr. Puneet Anand, Vertical Head of Corporate Communication & Social at Hyundai Motor India, remarked, “Art inspires change. Through Art for Hope, we are sowing the Seeds of Good in Bharat by nurturing a sustainable ecosystem for artists across India.”

The project, set to run from November to December 2024, will culminate in an early 2025 showcase of the grantees’ work, celebrating creativity and innovation in various art forms, including visual art, digital art, performing art, traditional crafts, and eco-friendly innovations.
