Ashok Leyland, a flagship of the Hinduja Group and India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, has entered into a strategic partnership with Japan’s Nidec Motor Corporation, a global leader in electric motor drives. This collaboration aims to develop innovative e-drive motors and systems tailored to the unique demands of India’s commercial vehicle industry, driving the future of electric mobility in the country.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Shenu Agarwal, Managing Director and CEO of Ashok Leyland, and Mr. Michael Briggs, President of Nidec Motion and Energy, in the presence of senior executives from both companies.
