chargeMOD, a leading EV charging network provider in South India, has opened a new charging hub near Athani Junction, Angamaly, Kerala. This hub, part of the Wattz-On 2024 electric mobility event, aims to promote EV adoption and infrastructure development in the region.
The hub features six fast chargers, including 60kW and 30kW Dual Gun chargers, allowing multiple vehicles to charge simultaneously. It also includes dining outlets and a lounge, creating a comfortable space for EV owners to relax while their vehicles recharge.
chargeMOD’s CEO, M. Ramanunni, highlighted the convenience and accessibility of the new hub, especially for travelers near the airport. The company has also introduced new features on its app, such as a wallet option for preloading money and advanced filters for finding suitable charging stations. Additionally, the EV routing feature helps users plan their journeys and locate chargers along their route.
