Tata Motors Unveils Cutting-Edge Mass Mobility Solutions at Prawaas 4.0

Tata Motors, India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, made a strong impact at Prawaas 4.0, the three-day biennial event dedicated to safe, smart, and sustainable mass mobility solutions. The company unveiled its all-new Tata Ultra EV 7M, an intra-city electric bus designed to meet the growing demand for zero-emission urban transport.

The Tata Ultra EV 7M, a zero-emission bus, seats 21 passengers and is equipped with a 213kW electric motor paired with a 200kWh Li-ion battery. With a range of up to 160 km on a single charge and a fast-charging capability of 2.5 hours, it promises to revolutionize urban commuting. Advanced safety features like electronic braking and stability control, along with an Intelligent Transport System (ITS) and regenerative braking, make it a standout in its class.

In addition to the Ultra EV 7M, Tata Motors also showcased a diverse lineup of passenger transport solutions, including the Tata Magna EV for intercity travel, the Tata Magic Bi-fuel for smarter last-mile connectivity, the Tata Ultra Prime CNG for school and staff transport, the luxurious Tata Winger 9S, the next-gen Tata CityRide Prime, and the robust Tata LPO 1822 for long-distance journeys.

Mr. Anand S, Vice President and Head of Commercial Passenger Vehicle Business at Tata Motors, emphasized the importance of Prawaas 4.0 in aligning with the company’s vision of safe, smart, and sustainable mobility. “We are proud to present a wide range of exhibits that cater to various segments, including our latest offering, the Ultra EV 7M. Our participation underscores our commitment to providing innovative and profitable mobility solutions for our customers,” he said.

With over 2,900 electric buses deployed across India and a cumulative coverage of over 16 crore kilometers, Tata Motors continues to lead the market in electric bus solutions. The company is also at the forefront of hydrogen fuel cell transport development and offers a variety of alternative fuel-powered vehicles to reduce operational costs and boost profitability for operators.
