Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus SE in India, priced at INR 4.57 crore (ex-showroom). This new model is set to revolutionize the luxury SUV market, combining high performance with advanced hybrid technology.
The Urus SE is a key part of Lamborghini’s ambitious Direzione Cor Tauri initiative, which aims to electrify its entire lineup. Following the Revuelto, this SUV is Lamborghini’s second hybrid vehicle, marking a significant step towards full hybridization by the decade’s end. It features a 4.0-litre V8 engine paired with a 25.9 kW high-voltage battery, delivering a combined output of 788 bhp. This powertrain allows the Urus SE to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 312 km/h.
Francesco Stadeoni, Lamborghini’s Regional Director for the Asia-Pacific region, hailed the Urus SE as ‘the best Lamborghini ever.’ He highlighted Lamborghini’s impressive sales, noting that the company surpassed 10,000 cars sold in 2023 and saw a 4% increase in deliveries in the first half of 2024. Stadeoni also emphasized Lamborghini’s commitment to reducing its carbon footprint, despite its small share in global automotive emissions.
The Urus SE features new matrix headlights, a redesigned bonnet, and improved aerodynamics, resulting in a 35% increase in downforce compared to the Urus S. Inside, it offers a luxurious experience with customizable interiors, an updated HMI, and advanced connectivity features, ensuring drivers remain in control and connected.
Additionally, the Urus SE is designed for various driving conditions, offering multiple driving modes that can be combined with electric performance strategies. This versatility makes it ideal for both daily driving and demanding off-road excursions.
