TVS Motor Company has announced a robust performance for July 2024, with monthly sales reaching 354,140 units, marking a 9% increase compared to 325,977 units sold in July 2023.
Two-Wheelers:
The company’s two-wheeler segment saw a notable 9% growth, with sales climbing from 312,307 units in July 2023 to 339,676 units in July 2024. Domestic sales of two-wheelers also rose by 8%, from 235,230 units to 254,250 units. Within this segment, motorcycle sales grew by 5%, from 153,942 units to 161,074 units, while scooter sales surged by 15%, from 121,941 units to 139,995 units.
Electric Vehicles (EVs):
TVS’s electric vehicle sales experienced a significant boost of 61%, with sales jumping from 13,306 units in July 2023 to 21,442 units in July 2024.
International Business:
The company’s international sales reflected a 9% growth, with total export sales rising from 89,213 units in July 2023 to 97,589 units in July 2024. Specifically, two-wheeler exports saw an 11% increase, from 77,077 units to 85,426 units.
Three-Wheelers:
Sales of three-wheelers grew by 6%, moving from 13,670 units in July 2023 to 14,464 units in July 2024.
TVS Motor Company’s strong performance across these segments underscores its growing market presence and continued expansion in both domestic and international markets.
