The deployment data includes various classes of vehicles such as buses, omni buses, and educational institution buses, digitized as per the centralized Vahan 4 system. However, data for Telangana and Lakshadweep was not provided as these regions are not included in the centralized Vahan 4 database.

In response to a query about financial assistance to Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation, it was noted that no funds have been allocated in the past five years.

This comprehensive plan aims to significantly enhance India’s electric vehicle infrastructure, reduce carbon emissions, and promote sustainable urban mobility. With continued efforts and state cooperation, the transition to electric buses is expected to gain momentum, setting a precedent for cleaner public transport solutions across the country.
