In a groundbreaking move, Tata Motors, India’s leading automotive manufacturer, has unveiled the Tata Curvv, India’s first SUV Coupé. This innovative vehicle seamlessly integrates premium design with enhanced practicality, available in petrol, diesel, and electric powertrains to cater to diverse customer preferences.
Launching on 7th August, the Curvv is set to redefine the SUV segment with its unique blend of SUV robustness and coupé elegance. The vehicle promises spirited performance, uncompromised safety, class-leading space, comfort, futuristic technologies, and a host of segment-first features.
Mr. Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd. and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd., expressed his excitement, stating, “Tata Motors has pioneered the Indian SUV arena. With the Curvv, we democratize the coupé body style in premium categories, offering best-in-segment performance and practicality. The Curvv’s design features a sharply sloping roofline for improved aerodynamics, large wheels, high approach and departure angles, and increased ground clearance. It will debut in two striking colors: Virtual Sunrise for the EV version and Gold Essence for the ICE variant.
Inside, the Curvv boasts modern and uncluttered interiors, spacious cabins, and ample storage, making it ideal for long drives. Premium materials and finishes, a panoramic glass roof, and best-in-class technologies further enhance its appeal. The reconfigured boot space offers increased and accessible storage.
Engine options include powerful petrol and diesel variants, along with electric models offering best-in-class driving range. Advanced infotainment, large screens, connected car technology, and a suite of active and passive safety features ensure a unique and secure driving experience.
