Lucid Group, Inc. announced updates for the 2025 model year that set new standards, achieving an unprecedented 5.0 miles per kilowatt hour of energy and a record 146 MPGe EPA rating for the Air Pure. The heat pump, first introduced in the Lucid Sapphire, is now standard across the lineup, enhancing real-world range. Additionally, a powerful new infotainment processor improves the user experience.
The 2025 Lucid Air Pure, powered by Lucid’s groundbreaking technology, is the most energy-efficient vehicle ever, becoming the first to achieve 5 miles of range per kilowatt hour of energy. It boasts an EPA-estimated range of 420 miles from an 84 kWh battery pack, marking a significant milestone in the global effort for sustainable transportation.
This remarkable efficiency means the new Lucid Air Pure uses less electrical energy for any journey compared to any other vehicle on the market today. Consuming less energy to travel further allows electric vehicles to deliver the range consumers expect while reducing the size of costly battery packs. “The advancements introduced across the Lucid Air lineup for 2025 further cement our leadership position,” said Peter Rawlinson, CEO and CTO of Lucid. “Lucid Air is the very embodiment of our relentless approach to optimization, enabling Air Pure to use less electrical energy than any other vehicle for any journey taken, A to B.”
