Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) has announced significant upgrades to the popular GR86, enhancing its turning performance and upper-limit handling. These improvements are designed to deepen the unique driving feel of the GR vehicle, drawing on insights gained from motorsports competition. The upgraded GR86 is now available for orders at Toyota vehicle dealers across Japan, with sales commencing on August 1.
In addition to the enhanced GR86, TGR has introduced the limited special-edition model RZ “Ridge Green Limited.” This exclusive model features a new Ridge Green exterior color, bronze wheels, and unique interior embroidery. A purchasing lottery for this limited run of 200 units is open from July 12 to July 28, with sales starting around October.
