The Tata Motors Group has reported a 2% increase in global wholesales for the first quarter of FY25, reaching a total of 329,847 units compared to the same period last year. This growth is driven by notable performances in the commercial vehicles segment and the Jaguar Land Rover brand.
In Q1 FY25, Tata Motors’ commercial vehicles and the Tata Daewoo range saw a 6% rise in global wholesales, amounting to 93,410 units. This robust performance underscores the company’s strength in the commercial vehicle market.
However, Tata Motors’ passenger vehicles experienced a slight decline. The global wholesales for this segment stood at 138,682 units, marking a 1% decrease from Q1 FY24.
Jaguar Land Rover showed positive growth, with total global wholesales reaching 97,755 vehicles, a 5% increase compared to the previous year. Within this segment, Jaguar reported wholesales of 8,227 vehicles, while Land Rover recorded 89,528 wholesales for the quarter.
These results highlight the mixed performance across Tata Motors’ various segments but showcase the company’s overall resilience and growth potential in the global automotive market.
