Indian Army Launches All-Women Bike Rally to Honor 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas with TVS Motors

Hon’ble LG of Ladakh, Brig (Dr) B D Mishra, flagged off an all-women bike rally with 25 riders from diverse backgrounds in celebration of the Rajat Jayanti Mahotsav of Kargil Vijay Diwas. The Indian Army organized this event to honor the valor and determination shown during the Kargil War. The ceremony took place at the Hall of Fame in Leh, attended by Lt Gen Hitesh Bhalla, General Officer Commanding Fire & Fury Corps, and Mr. Vimal Sumbly, Head of Premium Business at TVS Motor Company.

The rally brings together 25 women riders from different parts of India, including serving members of the Armed Forces, military spouses, and civilian enthusiasts. They will ride TVS Apache and TVS Ronin motorcycles. This initiative celebrates Kargil Vijay Diwas and showcases ‘Unity in Cultural and Ethnic Diversity’.
