Zen Mobility, a burgeoning Indian electric vehicle manufacturer, has unveiled two latest editions of its Zen Micro Pod series: the Micro Pod ThermoFlex and Micro Pod LoadMax, each priced at INR 2.25 lakh. These new models signify advancements in lightweight mobility, specifically tailored for transporting temperature-sensitive cargo, backed by flexible financing options and cutting-edge technology.
The Micro Pod LoadMax features a spacious 50 cubic feet cargo compartment, designed to handle sizable e-commerce shipments, appliance deliveries, and other bulky items. Conversely, the Micro Pod ThermoFlex functions as a mobile refrigeration unit, ensuring the consistent transport of frozen goods, fresh produce like fruits and vegetables, and dairy products, thus maintaining an uninterrupted cold chain.
Both variants offer flexible financing solutions including financing, leasing, and rental plans, aimed at meeting diverse customer requirements and enhancing accessibility, as per the company’s press release.
Equipped with state-of-the-art technologies such as telematics, IoT integration, geo-fencing with remote vehicle locking, trip data monitoring, and battery state-of-charge (SOC) tracking, these vehicles have been fine-tuned based on extensive feedback and trials involving major e-commerce and grocery firms.
The Micro Pod ThermoFlex is particularly suited for transporting perishables, pharmaceuticals such as vaccines, and dairy products. Meanwhile, the Micro Pod LoadMax caters to e-commerce logistics, distributor-to-retailer models, FMCG sectors, and other applications requiring substantial cargo capacity.

The Zen ThermoFlex and LoadMax provide exceptional utility with a maximum payload of 150 kilograms, surpassing conventional 2-wheelers’ load capacities by 2.5 times. They operate at minimal running costs, consuming only 4 units of electricity and requiring approximately 2 hours for a full charge. Featuring lightweight technology, these vehicles ensure efficient performance with reduced battery costs and lower cost-per-delivery.
Extensive testing over 150,000 km across various terrains and weather conditions has demonstrated the exceptional durability of the Zen ThermoFlex and LoadMax.
