Hyundai Motor Company has once again demonstrated its global design leadership, securing multiple 2024 Red Dot Awards for its innovative design concepts. The Hyundai SANTA FE XRT Concept, DICE, and SPACE Mobility were recognized in their respective categories, highlighting the company’s commitment to pioneering design and technology.
The Hyundai SANTA FE XRT Concept received the Design Concept award in the Cars and Motorcycles category. Launched alongside the SANTA FE in 2023, the rugged XRT Concept is tailored to meet the diverse needs of outdoor enthusiasts. Its robust design features chunky off-road wheels and tires, a roof-mounted luggage rack, and additional external storage, all aimed at igniting the spirit of adventure.
Introduced at CES 2024, Hyundai’s DICE (Digital Curated Experience) concept was praised in the Autonomous category. DICE revolutionizes autonomous mobility by offering personalized, optimized services and seamlessly integrating with users’ personal devices. Powered by a green hydrogen-based fuel cell, DICE not only provides transportation but also purifies the air, contributing to cleaner cities. Its advanced robotics technology and innovative design aim to enhance maneuverability and provide a sustainable future in mobility.
Also showcased at CES 2024, the SPACE (Spatial Curated Experience) Mobility concept was honored for its inclusive and adaptive design. This multi-seater public mobility system offers easy access for wheelchair users and is designed to support a wide spectrum of users. The SPACE Pavilion extension further enhances usability by repurposing decommissioned modules into transportable hubs, powered by a hydrogen fuel cell energy system.
