Statiq, a leading EV charging network, has joined forces with prominent Charge Point Operators (CPOs) like Hyundai, ChargeMOD, and GLIDA to boost the EV charging sector’s interoperability in India.

This collaboration enables users to access multiple CPOs’ charging networks through the Statiq mobile app.

The increasing number of EV users in India underscores the need for an extensive and accessible charging infrastructure. As more people switch to EVs for their environmental and cost benefits, the demand for reliable charging solutions grows. EV adoption is pivotal in reducing carbon emissions and fossil fuel dependency, paving the way for a sustainable future in India.

As per the ‘Strategic’ agreement, chargers from these partner CPOs will seamlessly integrate into the Statiq app. Users will enjoy comprehensive visibility and access to a vast network of current and future charging stations, ensuring nationwide coverage.

Raghav Arora, co-founder and CTO of Statiq, stated, “We are enthusiastic to begin this transformative journey with our esteemed partners Hyundai, ChargeMOD, and GLIDA. This collaboration demonstrates our shared commitment to advancing sustainable mobility in India. With a customer base of 1.5 lakh users, we are positioned to drive significant adoption and enhance the accessibility of EV charging infrastructure across India. Having deployed 7,000 chargers in tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 cities, Statiq aims to increase its EV chargers to 20,000 by the end of 2025.”

Building on successful partnerships with CPOs like E-Fill and Sunfuel, which resulted in a 30% increase in network utilization, Statiq plans to introduce over 5000 new public chargers through these new alliances. This initiative aims to revolutionize the EV charging experience by offering users real-time insights and essential information via the app. The streamlined process will guide users from locating charging stations to planning routes, scheduling charging sessions, and transacting through the Statiq wallet, eliminating the need for multiple apps and wallets.

Awadhesh Kumar Jha, Executive Director of GLIDA, expressed that GLIDA’s strategic collaboration with Statiq allows them to establish a strong and extensive charging network throughout India. This collaboration aligns with our mission to provide a seamless charging experience to EV users and accelerate electric mobility adoption to reduce vehicular carbon emissions for a sustainable future. GLIDA is dedicated to mainstreaming electric mobility, and through our collaborative approach, we aim to strengthen the industry and create multiple avenues to ease EV ownership.”

Ramanunni M, CEO of ChargeMOD, stated, “ChargeMOD is delighted to collaborate with Statiq to enhance the EV charging infrastructure in India. Through our partnership, we look forward to providing EV owners with reliable access to our charging network, further accelerating EV adoption and supporting India’s transition to sustainable mobility.”

This collective effort aims to meet the growing demand for efficient and user-friendly charging solutions, ensuring that the EV charging infrastructure evolves alongside the pace of EV adoption in India.
