Ford Performance has announced an exciting new opportunity for Mustang Challenge competitors to participate in the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. The 2025 Mustang Challenge Le Mans Invitational will be an optional round of the 2025 IMSA Mustang Challenge schedule, allowing racers to compete at the legendary Circuit de la Sarthe.
This exclusive event will invite all Mustang Challenge competitors and qualified owners of the Mustang Dark Horse R to take part. Additionally, a limited number of Mustang Dark Horse R race cars will be allocated to interested and qualified racers to ensure a competitive and thrilling race.
Key highlights of the announcement include:
- Open Participation: The event is open to all Mustang Challenge competitors, teams, and Mustang Dark Horse R owners who meet the qualification criteria.
- Vehicle Allocation: A limited number of additional Mustang Dark Horse R vehicles will be made available to qualified participants for the Le Mans round.
- Entry Details: Entries will open later this year, with comprehensive details to be released at a future date.
