EMotorad, the leading brand in the electric cycle segment, made history today by organizing India’s first-ever E-cyclothon in Pune. The event took place at Mayfield Ivy Garden, Baner, commencing at 6:30 AM and attracting over 200 e-cycling enthusiasts keen to celebrate World Bicycle Day and World Environment Day in an eco-friendly manner.
The E-cyclothon witnessed an impressive turnout, with participants embarking on a 20-km ride starting from Baner, traversing scenic routes through Pashan Hill, NDA, and Aundh, before returning to the starting point. Guided by professionals, safety and adherence to regulations were paramount throughout the event, which saw participants spanning ages from 9 to late 60s, all geared up for the ride.
The day kicked off with an invigorating Zumba warm-up session, preparing participants for the ride ahead. Following the ride, attendees were treated to a nutritious breakfast and eco-friendly goodie bags containing plants, whey protein, coffee hampers, stationary, and more. A thrilling e-cycle stunt session conducted by Shivam Naruka from the EMotorad team added excitement to the event, leaving spectators in awe. The day concluded with an award ceremony, where participants were honored with medals, merchandise, and gifts, commemorating the memorable moments of the inaugural E-cyclothon.
Expressing his delight at the event’s success, EMotorad’s Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Aditya Oza, emphasized the significance of Pune in the company’s journey, stating, “Pune holds a special place for us as our first customer came from the city, and many of our team, including founders, were educated here.
