Audi is unveiling a new, highly efficient drive option for the upcoming Audi Q6 e-tron ahead of its official launch in August. Featuring rear-wheel drive and a newly developed 100 kWh lithium-ion battery, the Audi Q6 e-tron performance offers an impressive range of up to 641 kilometers, as per the WLTP global standard. This places it at the forefront of the Q6 e-tron lineup. Additionally, the scalable Premium Platform Electric (PPE) showcases its adaptability with this rear-wheel drive configuration. The Audi Q6 SUV e-tron performance is now available for order starting at 68,800 EUR.
The Audi Q6 e-tron signifies the dawn of a new era for electric vehicles at Audi. Introduced earlier this year, the model premiered in two variants: the Audi Q6 e-tron quattro with a system output of 285 kW and the sporty SQ6 e-tron with a system output of 380 kW.
The newly introduced Audi Q6 e-tron performance model boasts a highly efficient rear-wheel drive setup. Equipped with a compact and powerful permanent magnet synchronous motor (PSM), it delivers a system output of 240 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. This variant appeals to customers seeking extended electric range, dynamic performance, and everyday usability, along with shorter charging times. With a range of up to 641 kilometers, the Audi Q6 e-tron performance ranks among the leaders in its segment.
Furthermore, the model offers rapid charging capabilities, with up to 260 kilometers of rechargeable range in just 10 minutes at compatible fast charging stations, ensuring convenience during long journeys.
The Audi Q6 e-tron performance joins the Audi Q6 e-tron family as the latest addition, boasting the longest range and serving as the entry-level option in terms of pricing. It is available for order starting at EUR 68,800, with deliveries scheduled for the third quarter of this year. Deliveries of the Audi Q6 e-tron quattro and Audi SQ6 e-tron variants are set to commence in August.
