Ashok Leyland Expands LCV Network with New Dealership in North Delhi

Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group and a leading commercial vehicle manufacturer in India, has inaugurated a new dealership for Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) in North Delhi. This marks the third LCV dealership in Delhi, further strengthening the company’s robust distribution network, which now boasts over 700 touch points.

The new dealership, operated by VMT Motors LLP, features a 3S (Sales, Service, and Spares) facility strategically located on GT Karnal Highway at Plot No. 1 & 2, Khasra No. 53, Nangli Poona, Delhi, 110036. The facility is equipped with advanced tools, six service bays, and a sophisticated infrastructure designed to enhance customer experience.

Amandeep Singh, President of LCV, IO, PSB & Defence Business at Ashok Leyland, highlighted the significance of the new dealership. “The runaway success of our ‘DOST Range’ and now the ‘BADA DOST’ is largely due to the robustness of our products and our extensive network. This new dealership reinforces our dedication to expanding our reach and enhancing service levels.”

Ashok Leyland’s LCV offerings, designed to meet the evolving needs of Indian customers, include the BADA DOST, DOST, PARTNER, and MiTR models. The BADA DOST, the latest addition, is built on a new robust LCV platform and comes in three variants: i2, i3+, and i4. Powered by an 80 hp BS6 engine, the BADA DOST offers best-in-class power, mileage, payload, load body length, and loading space, making it ideal for both intercity and intracity applications. It also comes in a CNG variant.

The DOST range includes the DOST LiTE, DOST STRONG, DOST XL, and DOST+ models, catering to various market segments and applications. The PARTNER, available in 4 and 6 tyre options, is a modern, fuel-efficient load carrier in the 4-ton payload segment, with load body options ranging from 10ft to 17ft. The MiTR bus, based on the same platform as PARTNER, is offered as both a standard and a school bus, delivering superior mileage and complying with all safety norms and compliance codes.

Manufactured at Ashok Leyland’s state-of-the-art Hosur plant, the BADA DOST is priced starting at INR 9,99,500 for the i4 and i3+ variants, INR 9,02,000 for the i2 Diesel variant, and INR 9,15,000 for the CNG variant. The DOST range starts at INR 7,45,000, PARTNER at INR 16,83,000, and the MiTR bus at INR 22,39,000.

Ashok Leyland’s expansive network, comprising over 1,700 exclusive outlets, ensures authorized service centers are available every 75 km on major highways, reinforcing its position as one of the largest and fastest-growing networks in the commercial vehicle space.
