MINI enthusiasts and motorsport fans are eagerly awaiting the highly anticipated debut of the New MINI John Cooper Works at this year’s 24 Hours of Nürburgring. The iconic endurance race, known for its grueling day-long challenge on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, will serve as the perfect stage to showcase MINI’s latest innovations in speed, skill, and reliability.

The New MINI John Cooper Works, clad in bespoke camouflage designed by the MINI Design Team, pays homage to the classic red and white motorsport color schemes of the 1960s. This petrol-powered variant will make its world premiere in the fall of 2024, marking a significant milestone in MINI’s commitment to blending innovation with heritage. The new lineup will include both petrol and all-electric versions, pushing the boundaries of speed and agility.

Commemorating Mini’s historic victory at the 1964 Rallye Monte Carlo, the racecar proudly features a distinctive “37” logo, celebrating the 60th anniversary of this milestone. This emblem serves as a tribute to MINI’s rich motorsport tradition.

Competing in the SP 3T category, the New MINI John Cooper Works #317 will be entered by Bulldog Racing, a private team from Nürburg. Dubbed “MINI John Cooper Works PRO,” this MINI Twin-Power Turbo racecar combines MINI’s iconic design with Bulldog Racing’s track-tested expertise.

Adding to the excitement, the second entry, the black MINI John Cooper Works #474 with manual transmission, will return to defend its podium finish from last year’s race in the VT-2 category. This formidable contender has already proven its endurance racing prowess, setting high expectations for this year’s event.

As anticipation builds, MINI fans and automotive enthusiasts can look forward to an unforgettable showcase of the New MINI John Cooper Works’ capabilities at the 24 Hours of Nürburgring, from June 1st to June 2nd, 2024.
