Tata Power Expands Electric Vehicle Charging Network in Karnataka, Fostering Sustainable Mobility

Tata Power, a prominent player in India’s electric vehicle (EV) charging sector, continues to drive the growth of sustainable mobility in Karnataka with its expanding EV charging network, known as EZ Charge.

With over 220 charging points strategically positioned across the state, Tata Power is actively bolstering Karnataka’s transition towards clean and efficient transportation. These charging stations, equipped with RFID card-enabled transactions, offer a seamless charging experience, facilitating hassle-free access for electric vehicle users.

The charging infrastructure spans major highways connecting Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Davangere, and Mysuru, with additional presence at popular tourist destinations like Chikmagalur and Coorg. Key cities including Mangaluru, Mysuru, Hubli, Belgaum, Gulbarga, and Davangere are also equipped with EZ Charge points, strategically located at prominent public locations such as hotels and commercial complexes.

In Bengaluru, Tata Power has deployed over 150 charging points across key suburbs like Devanahalli and Electronic City, aiming to minimize charging distances and enhance accessibility for EV users within the capital city.

The company has forged collaborations with renowned builders and societies like Brigade Gardenia and Divyashree Elan Homes, extending its charging network to residential complexes and commercial complexes. Collaborations with entities like Decathlon and Titan further reinforce Tata Power’s presence in Karnataka’s EV charging landscape.

Aligned with Karnataka’s progressive stance on electric mobility, Tata Power is committed to supporting the state government’s visionary objectives. By strategically placing charging points and forming comprehensive networks, Tata Power aims to accelerate EV adoption and position Karnataka as a leader in sustainable transportation nationwide.

Tata Power’s extensive EZ Charge network, spanning 530 cities and towns, includes 86,000 home chargers, 5,300 public charging points, and 850 strategically positioned bus-charging stations. With a strong presence in diverse locations such as hotels, malls, offices, and residential complexes, Tata Power plays a pivotal role in driving e-mobility adoption across India.
