NexGen Energia, a company based in Noida, announced the launch of an inexpensive electric two-wheeler NGE Raakit 100, starting at Rs 36,990. Businessman-actor Suniel Shetty unveiled the electric vehicle according to the company.
“Our scooter, prices for which start from Rs 36,990, represents our most economical two-wheeler offering to date. This launch signifies a significant stride towards enhancing the accessibility and affordability of electric vehicles (EVs) for future generations,” NexGen Energia stated.
Piyush Dwivedi, Chairman of NexGen Energia, emphasized the company’s mission to make electric vehicles a feasible choice for every Indian, thus fostering a cleaner future for all.
The company aims to surpass sales of Rs 500 crore in the current fiscal year, establish over 500 dealerships and distributors, and generate approximately 50,000 direct and indirect job opportunities in the EV sector.
NGE e-Mobility plans to introduce the world’s most economical four-wheeler in the upcoming fiscal year, priced below Rs 5 lakh, it further noted.
