Magenta Mobility, a provider of comprehensive electric mobility solutions, has announced its expansion into Chennai, introducing Electric Vehicle (EV) logistics solutions tailored for local businesses and serving established clients from various sectors such as E-Commerce, B2C, FMCG, and Logistics. This step underscores Magenta’s dedication to reducing India’s carbon footprint in the supply chain by offering secure, intelligent, and eco-friendly logistics solutions.
Magenta Mobility has introduced a fleet of 3W and 4W electric vehicles into the city. The company aims to provide holistic transportation solutions by establishing a supportive ecosystem for the transition to EVs, thereby reshaping the movement of goods within the urban landscape.
In addition to electrifying commercial transportation in Chennai, the deployment of electric vehicles is poised to significantly decrease carbon emissions. To date, Magenta vehicles have travelled 11.5 million kilometers emission-free across India, preventing 291.35 metric tons of carbon dioxide from entering the atmosphere.
This launch underscores the importance of adopting electric vehicles to mitigate carbon emissions in the logistics sector. Furthermore, it highlights the significance of EV logistics, recognizing its potential to contribute to environmental sustainability.
