Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) has issued a call for proposals to select an operator for the procurement, supply, operation, and maintenance of 3,132 electric buses as well as the development of associated civil and electric infrastructure under the Pradhan Mantri eBus Sewa initiative on Gross Cost Contract model.
The deadline for bid submissions is April 25, 2024, with bids to be opened on the same day. Prospective bidders are required to pay a non-refundable tender fee of Rs. 25,000.
The tender is categorized into two packages: Package-1 encompasses 9-meter and 12-meter-long buses, while Package-2 focuses on 7-meter-long buses.
