Allcargo Gati Limited, a prominent provider of express distribution and supply chain solutions, has named Mr. Sanjay Khiyani as Deputy Chief Information Officer, reinforcing the company’s dedication to optimizing its technological infrastructure and administration. In this strategic role, Sanjay will oversee budgeting, resource development and allocation, and policy formation, while also directing software development, delivery, and deployment to leverage digital solutions for operational streamlining and improved customer experience. He will report directly to Mr. G. S. Ravi Kumar, Chief Information Officer of Allcargo Gati Limited.

With an extensive career spanning over 25 years across various sectors, including information technology and the steel industry, Mr. Sanjay Khiyani brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Notably, he spent the last two decades at IBM, where he played a pivotal role in driving strategic projects and managing program life cycles, focusing on account management, delivery management, and people management.

Welcoming Sanjay Khiyani, Mr. Pirojshaw (Phil) Sarkari, Managing Director and CEO of Gati Express and Supply Chain Pvt. Ltd. (GESCPL), expressed his delight at having Sanjay on board. He emphasized the strategic significance of Sanjay’s appointment as Deputy Chief Information Officer in strengthening the company’s information technology leadership. Mr. Khiyani holds a Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy (B.E.) from the University of Madras, along with postgraduate studies in Computer Applications from IMT Ghaziabad and Software Enterprise Management from IIM Bangalore. Additionally, he is a certified data scientist.
