Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced that the state would provide Rs 40,000 in financial assistance to laborers buying electric scooters.
Yadav made this announcement while addressing the audience before the inauguration of the airport terminal in Gwalior earlier that day. “
We have increased the financial assistance to Rs 4 lakh from the current Rs 1 lakh in the event of the death of laborers or their suffering from physical disabilities,” he mentioned.
Yadav also stated that workers would receive the assistance of Rs 40,000 to purchase e-scooters, in addition to announcing a raise in the wages of laborers across various categories.
The Chief Minister stated that the monthly wages for unskilled laborers would be raised to Rs 11,450, semi-skilled workers would now earn Rs 12,446, and agricultural laborers would experience an increase in their wages to Rs 9,160. Earlier in the day, Yadav unveiled the statue of
Vijayaraje Scindia, one of the founding members of the ruling BJP, alongside Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and other leaders.
