In a move to fortify its position as a key player in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, Unico has finalized the acquisition of Present Power Systems (PPS), a renowned innovator specializing in ultra-compact power electronics design. This strategic acquisition signifies Unico’s commitment to expanding its foothold in the EV testing market while also venturing into new territories such as battery testing and EV charging solutions.

With the integration of Present Power Systems into its fold, Unico gains access to a diverse array of cutting-edge technologies tailored for battery cell, module, and pack testing, as well as EV charging infrastructure including home chargers, and DC fast charging stations, On-Board Chargers (OBC), DC-to-DC converters, and inductive wireless charging solutions.
