In a significant achievement, Okaya EV, a leading brand in electric vehicle charging solutions, has successfully commissioned High Capacity EV chargers for the Ayodhya Water Metro Project. The stations, strategically equipped with 150 kWh CCS2 Super-Fast EV chargers, play a pivotal role in supporting the Water Metro service operating between Guptar Ghat and Naya Ghat. These eco-friendly boats, designed to accommodate up to 50 passengers, offer a comfortable and sustainable mode of transportation. The introduction of the water metro is expected to significantly reduce travel time between the two ghats, providing passengers with a scenic cruise on the Saryu River.
Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL) is at the forefront of the Ayodhya Water Metro Project’s successful implementation. The next phase of the project involves the installation of Okaya EV fast chargers in Varanasi, further contributing to the expansion of economical and sustainable transport initiatives in the region.
