ARENQ, a manufacturer specializing in energy storage batteries, has forged a strategic alliance with DE Power, an Asian company specializing in electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions. In an exclusive distribution agreement, ARENQ will serve as the sole distributor for DE Power’s advanced EV chargers and swapping stations across India.
Under this partnership, ARENQ plans to deploy around 50,000 EV chargers, ranging from 1 to 5 kilowatts, across the country. The collaboration also includes provisions for localized manufacturing of chargers in India, leveraging DE Power’s technical expertise.
V. G. Anil, CEO of ARENQ, underscored the importance of this collaboration in advancing sustainable transportation solutions, stating, “Our partnership with DE Power enables us to offer state-of-the-art EV charging infrastructure to Indian consumers.”
Anil further emphasized the commitment to local manufacturing, stating, “We aspire to utilize DE Power’s expertise to produce high-quality EV chargers within India, aligning with our mutual goal of promoting economic growth, job creation, and contributing to the nation’s economic advancement.”
