Following closely, e-Rickshaws made up 33.2%, while electric three-wheelers (e-3W) contributed 4.7%. The adoption of electric four-wheelers (e-4W) and e-buses also showcased promising numbers, accounting for 5.1% collectively.
The month of May 2023 marked a significant peak, with a record-breaking 1,58,433 EV units sold, demonstrating a heightened interest and preference for electric vehicles.
