Tesla’s Q4 2023 Production Hits 495,000 Vehicles with 38% YoY Delivery Surge

In a recent announcement Tesla, headquartered in Austin, Texas, reported impressive production and delivery figures for the fourth quarter of 2023. The electric vehicle giant produced a remarkable 495,000 vehicles during this period, delivering over 484,000 units. Notably, the annual comparison reveals a substantial growth, with vehicle deliveries increasing by 38% Year over Year (YoY) to 1.81 million, while production saw a 35% YoY surge to 1.85 million units.

Breaking down the numbers for the fourth quarter of 2023, the production of Model 3/Y stood at 476,777 units, with deliveries reaching 461,538 units. Other Models contributed an additional 18,212 in production and 22,969 in deliveries. The total production for the quarter summed up to 494,989 units, out of which 484,507 were successfully delivered. These figures are subject to operating lease accounting, showing a 2% impact.

For the entire year 2023, the production of Model 3/Y totaled 1,775,159 units, with deliveries reaching 1,739,707 units. Other Models added 70,826 units in production and 68,874 in deliveries, resulting in an overall production of 1,845,985 units and deliveries of 1,808,581 units.
